We have a Passion for the Blues and Classic Rock N'Roll

The Crook County Blues Band delivers an authentic Chicago Blues and Classic Rock sound. We are a blues band that likes to play rock and roll!

The Crook County Blues Band also has wedding experience. Many clients choose us over your everyday wedding bands because we are a high energy, party band rather than so many other "YMCA" type bands. Check out our wedding reviews.

Darryl is an awesome Sax Player and music teacher. Lead guitarist Russ Hartig has exceptional chops: whether playing Hendrix, Presley, Cream, Stevie Ray Vaughn, or Freddie King classics, he nimbly and seemingly effortlessly switches genres and goes beyond imitation to make established tunes sound both immediately familiar and notably his own. The reliable rhythm section backed by awesome drummer and music teacher Andrew Szymanski, Ray Somera seques easily across the genres Crook County explores, and multi-instrumentalist Pat Fiege (harp, keys, guitar, sax) is an affable and inviting front man with enough vocal growl and melody to span the band's catalogue.
